This is our spot to showcase some of our favorite mastiffs. These dogs were all bred by Nancy and John Pitas of Brookside mastiffs. Nancy and John were fixtures in the New England mastiff community for many years; and produced dogs of uncommon quality that were appreciated and admired by many.
It is to John and Nancy that we owe much; our treasured boy Owen as well as the best breeder/ owner friendship one could hope for.
We hope that you enjoy looking through these snapshots!

Ch. Brookside's Lady Anna passed away on September 27, 2008 at the age of 11. She will be terribly missed by her family and by her "brother" , Jethrow. Rest well, Lady Anna. Baby Anna! About 16 weeks old here. This is how I'll always think of Anna .She was an "Up and Coming "puppy when Owen was just finishing up with his showing.

A girlish Brookside's Lady Anna going BOW at the tender age of 8 months;with her mom handling, as always. Anna got her Championship in Trenton, NJ at 18 months. She was BOW beating a total of 30 males and females. The day before at Bucks she was reserve winners, beating 26 females . All owner handled!
