Pikachu ( "Seri") is our salt and pepper miniature schnauzer from Joyce Finnegan of Majoray Kennels in Plymouth, Ma.
Thank you , Joyce, for entrusting us to care for and LOVE this little grey baby doll!! She is fitting in here as perfectly as if she were always here. She adores her "big dogs"; greeting them joyously each morning as if she was afraid they might have dissappeared overnight! This, despite the fact that we ALL sleep in the bedroom, and Patience and Seri sleep in the BED with us!!
Seri is a retired show dog, who despite doing very well with a number of impressive wins; didn't fancy the ring as much as her big sister Patience does.

So cute, she wrapped herself up like this with no help from us; during the first week of Puppies here....sigh...poor little thing, she broke my heart that night!!! But she has rebounded and loves the puppies and all of the puppy hub-bub around here.

My new mommy and daddy love me so much; they bought me special pajamas to wear! I started to shiver when Fall started to happen; and they wanted to make sure I stayed cozy at all times. Thank you, Mommy and Daddy!

Look familiar?? Heartfelt thanks to artist Jay Shippole- Blue for creating this beautiful watercolor of our little girl! . Jay saw the photo above, and was inspired to paint this watercolor of it! I also have lovely note cards with the same image. The work is called "Seri Waits." I am told that it is being displayed in a gallery. What a wonderfully talented person Jay is!
